About the place

Characteristic fully furnished 12m private attic room offered in one of the safest Area of the City Center coming free the 1st of March or the 1st of April latest (moving in already in February maybe possible as well) 

The room is situated on the 4th floor and the kitchen and bathroom on the 2nd floor. No shared living room. 

It is fully furnished with a couch, table, chair, 2 closets, and a single bed.

You’ll be sharing the rest of the apartment with a couple who has two children (11 and 6 years old). The children of the couple are relaxed however you must be ok with it. If you like children, it would be nice if you could babysit the kids when they’re already in bed and you’re home anyway, but it’s certainly not a must. There’s a shared bathroom, kitchen, and balcony. No shared living room. WIFI available. Kitchen is fully equipped. Everybody works and is easygoing. Rent is 1075 - a month, all included. There is a first contract for nine months, which then can be extended, if all goes well. A shorter stay is also possible with a minimum stay of 6 months. No couples.

Public transport stops in front of the apartment. It is perfectly situated at the corner of the Jordaan and Westerpark where either expats or local people living here. It is not the touristic side of town, so you can perfectly sleep at night. Just a very safe and calm area. There is a library is right across the street and a gym.

Everybody works fulltime and is easygoing.
The perfect person for us is a calm and responsible and respectful woman/girl between 18 and 50, who works fulltime, or doing her internship, or studies outside the house. A person who is out (to the office/ library) during the workweek during working hours 5 days a week from Monday till Friday is a must. A girl/ woman who also likes a (super) clean house and parties outside the house and doesn’t mind living with a family who has kids. It is not a party house. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and homely setting. It is more like adults sharing a house, not a student house (although that’s fine when you’re a student when your studying outside the house during the workweek)

Because it is fully furnished the only thing you would need to bring is your bag of clothes, all the other equipment to live is already there. (washing machine, vacuum cleaner, kitchen utensils, bed linen, towel etc.) That’s why it is also perfect for a short stay (min. stay of six months). We are very keen on hygiene and are aware of the climate change (so we don’t want to put our heating extreme high/ or ‘on’ during working hours and we wear a sweater first before putting on the heating). That’s why we prefer a person who does not work/study from home. Although you can study from the library which is across the street. So, when your always cold, before putting on a sweater first, please don’t react on this advert. 

If you’re looking for a room in a clean house with responsible people who all work fulltime, a room in an apartment which is fully accommodated in one of the safest areas of the city center of Amsterdam, then this place would be suitable.
