About the place

A newly renovated, fully furnished private room with balcony (10m²) is available in a shared household, with access to a shared living room (23m²), kitchen, and bathroom. The room will be free from the 1st of March, located in one of the safest areas of the city center. 

Please note: this room is available until 31 July only, for a fixed period of 5 months. After that, another room in the house may become available, and you could potentially move to that room.

This private 10 m² room is fully furnished and styled like a tiny house, featuring a bunk bed, sofa, desk, chair, and wardrobe.

The shared areas include a kitchen, spacious living room, and bathroom, shared with three other female housemates. The living room is fully furnished with a sofa, table, four chairs, and storage space.

The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washing machine and dishwasher. The apartment features wooden flooring throughout and offers Wi-Fi.

It is perfectly situated at the corner of the Jordaan and Westerpark where either expats or local people living here. Public transport stops in front of the apartment. It is not the touristic side of town, so you can perfectly sleep at night. Just a very safe and calm area. 

The rent is €1075 per month, all-inclusive. The room is available from the 1st of March till the end of July.

Registration is possible, and you will be offered a contract. The initial contract is for 5 months, which can be extended in case you can move to another room. A shorter stay then 5 months is not possible. 

You will share the bathroom, kitchen, and living room with three other international girls, all of whom are students at the University of Amsterdam or are doing internships or working full-time. The atmosphere is informal and homely, with everyone getting along easily. They sometimes have dinners together and watch movies.

We are looking for one calm girl who is seriously busy with their studies, internship, or fulltime job, who likes the house (super) clean, and likes to party ‘outside’ the house. We all appreciate a more adult setting with a clean household to live in. No couples. Preferable the age between 18 and 24. 

Since the room is fully furnished, the only thing you need to bring is your clothing—everything else (washing machine, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, bed linens, etc.) is already provided.

We are very keen on hygiene and are aware of the climate change (so we don’t want to put our heating extreme high/ or on during working hours/ and we wear a sweater first before putting on the heating). That’s why we prefer a person who does not work/study from home during working hours. We all study at the library/ work/ following classes during daytime (working hours). So, when your always cold, before putting on a sweater first, please don’t react on this advert. Please note that three of the photos are of the shared living room.
