I'm looking for a lovely new female housemate, preferably vegan or vegetarian!
The room will be available from 1 December 2026.

A little bit about me:
I'm Marleen, a busy professional with two big passions...

Work: I'm an actress and recently completed my personal training certification. At the moment, I'm focused on getting my own business up and running!

Hobbies: As you might have guessed, I'm really into fitness and love bouldering and climbing.

Vibe: I'm a big plant lover! (As you can probably tell from the pictures, haha!) The apartment has a pretty impressive indoor jungle, and I'll be your only housemate! :)

Who am I looking for?
I'm looking for a respectful, like-minded housemate who wants to create a lovely and peaceful home together.

Gender/status: A working, professional and tidy female housemate (no students, families or men, please).

Food preferences: Ideally someone who is vegetarian or vegan (I'm vegan myself!), but of course, people with other eating habits are welcome too.

Home atmosphere: I'm looking for someone who consciously wants to live in a peaceful home in a quiet neighbourhood, somewhere to unwind from the busy life of Amsterdam. I'm a quiet housemate myself and like to keep the shared spaces tidy and peaceful.

Working from home: Working from home a few days a week is absolutely fine, but preferably not every day. I also need one or two days a week to work on my business from home. We can coordinate our schedules so we both have enough space and time to ourselves!

Why this apartment is the perfect place:
Location, convenience and comfort: we've got it all!

Excellent public transport:
- Less than a 15-minute walk to NOORD metro station (North/South line – line 52).
- From there, it's less than 3 minutes to Central Station and under 10 minutes directly to De Pijp!
- 20-minute bike ride to the ferry near Amsterdam Central Station.
- And no worries: the ferries between Amsterdam Central and Noord run 24/7!

Shops nearby:
- Just a 5-minute walk to local shops (hello, LIDL!).
- The extensive Buikslotermeerplein shopping centre is just 10 minutes away.
- A 10-minute bike ride takes you to NDSM, with its lovely bars and restaurants.

Modern apartment: The apartment was fully renovated a few years ago, so everything is modern and well maintained.

Large balcony with afternoon sun! (Yes, sunbathing is allowed!)

Private bicycle storage: Plenty of space for your bike or some extra storage.

Nature around the corner: We live in a quiet, green residential neighbourhood with lovely outdoor spaces where you can go for walks. The beautiful nature reserve Het Twiske is also nearby.

Pets: Cats are negotiable!

Smoking: Strictly not allowed. This is a completely smoke-free home.

Practical information:
All-inclusive rent: €1,100 per month (€150 in fixed costs).
Deposit: Twice the basic rent (€1,800).
What's included: The €150 in fixed costs covers everything (gas, water, electricity, municipal taxes, internet – the whole package!). I'll take care of all the bills, so you won't have to worry about a thing!
Move-in date: From 1 December.

Please note: The room is UNFURNISHED and will be rented without any furniture.
Registration is possible.

Viewings will take place during the week starting Monday 9 November.
