About the place

Available from 1 June, I’m looking for a young professional (24–32) to join me long-term in our beautifully renovated apartment in the heart of Amsterdam Oud-West.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor, directly next to Vondelpark, with a balcony facing the park, perfect for morning coffee or a summer BBQ. The space is modern and fully renovated, featuring a high-end Siemens kitchen with gas hob, built-in ovens and a ceiling extractor, a luxury marble bathroom with rain shower and double sink, a separate toilet, herringbone oak flooring throughout, washing machine, and a spacious open-plan living and dining area. A tram stop is right at the front door.

Vondelpark is literally a one-minute walk away, making it ideal if you like to run or just spend time outside. Oud-West is one of Amsterdam’s most loved neighbourhoods for a reason. You’re steps away from some of the best coffee bars, lunch spots and restaurants the city has to offer, with the likes of De Hallen, Kinkerstraat and Ten Katemarkt all within easy walking distance. It’s the kind of area where you actually want to spend your weekends.

The room is 17m² with an L-shaped layout, bright and spacious, with large windows and plenty of natural light. The L-shape gives you a lot of storage space, and it comes furnished with a bed, a large closet and a desk, so you can move in straight away.

I’m 29, German, working as a data engineer in finance. I enjoy cooking, having people over for dinner, and firing up the BBQ on the balcony in summer. I keep the flat clean and tidy and I’m looking for someone who shares that mindset. I’d love for us to actually get along as friends rather than just passing each other in the hallway.
What you get
€1,500/month plus around €100 for utilities, which includes a cleaning lady every two weeks taking care of the whole flat including bed rooms. Long-term rental preferred.
