The room is in a beautiful 2-floor canal house on a peaceful street in central Amsterdam (~10 min walk from Centraal Station, >5 min to Nieuwmarkt).

About the Apartment
- Classic Amsterdam canal house
- 150m² across 2 floors
- Large shared kitchen with dining table
- Separate lounge area
- Separate bathrooms and toilets
- Shared with just me (female, 39)

The Room
- Large bedroom: 5m x 6m
- Fully furnished: double bed, standing desk, (large screen available)
- Available from late January
- Minimum 6 months, option to extend

Rent & Details
- €1,700/month (all-inclusive: water, electricity, gas, internet)
- Deposit: €1,700 (one month's rent)
- Registration possible if staying longer than 3 months

About You - I'm looking for someone who:
- Is between 30-45 (ideally), 
- Works full-time (ideally works from home max 2-3 days/week)
- Is tidy, responsible, respectful and sociable
- Can provide proof of employment
- Available now, can move in asap (before Feb 8)

- Originally from Melbourne (yes, I'm passionate about good food and coffee!)
- Chinese-Australian, lived in Amsterdam for 6 years
- Active balanced lifestyle: yoga, bouldering, gym (also like dabbling in meditation, breathwork etc)
- Love brunches and trying new restaurants
- Prefer cozy nights in over clubs these days
- Freelance coach working from home
- Did I mention I love food?

I'm looking for someone relaxed, easy-going, and respectful of shared space — someone who gets the balance between being sociable and valuing quiet time. Unfortunately no pets or smokers due to allergies.
