Room for rent in a charming and bright two-bedroom apartment of approximately 80 m², located in the popular Spaarndammerbuurt. You will share the apartment with one other housemate. The living room, kitchen, bathroom and sunny 10 m² balcony are shared.

The living room and other common areas are fully furnished. The bedroom can also be furnished upon agreement.

The apartment

The apartment is located on the second floor and has a practical layout with plenty of natural light. At the front is a spacious living room with an open kitchen. At the rear are two generous bedrooms and a sunny 10 m² southeast-facing balcony.

With five windows at the front and four at the rear, the apartment benefits from plenty of natural light throughout the day. At the back, the apartment overlooks quiet and green residential gardens.

The shared areas are fully furnished and equipped:

Living room: large sofa, TV, dining table with six chairs, lighting and artwork
Kitchen: fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, Nespresso machine, crockery and cooking utensils
Bathroom: two sinks, washer-dryer combination, drying rack and ironing board
Bedroom: can be furnished upon agreement
Balcony: 10 m², southeast-facing
Availability

The room is initially available for a period of 6 months, with a strong possibility of extending for another 6 months, up to a total of one year.

The neighbourhood

The Spaarndammerbuurt is ideally located between Westerpark, the Jordaan and the Houthavens. Within walking distance, you will find two supermarkets, Bbrood bakery, various shops, excellent restaurants and cafés such as Moos and De Walvis.

Westerpark and the Westergasfabriek are approximately a 5-minute walk away. The Jordaan, Haarlemmerstraat, the canal district and NDSM are all easily accessible on foot or by bike. Both Amsterdam Central Station and Sloterdijk Station can be reached in around 10 minutes by bike or public transport. The A10 ring road and Coentunnel are also easily accessible by car.
