About the place

Hi there,

My flatmate of 2 years is moving out and I'm looking for a new flatmate to take her room! 

The room is 7 sqm (EUR 1240/month) and comfortably fits a 1.40 m bed. My current flatmate is selling the wardrobe and shelves, while the bed will be leaving with her.

There is a deposit required and a few other one-time costs:
* €1037.5 deposit for the room
* €156.33 waste tax (for the remaining 8 months in 2026)
* €155 (contribution to shared house items e.g. kitchenware, sofa, vacuum cleaner, solar panel - we get a deduction from our energy bill)
* €85 (wardrobe, shelves and "nightstand" in the room)

The flat has a bathroom with a bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a long day. We also share a spacious, fully furnished living room and kitchen, so everything is ready to move in and feel at home.

And the cherry on top: a huge private terrace with stunning views over Amsterdam’s rooftops, great for sunbathing or grabbing a drink while admiring the sunset!

As for me, I'm Narcisa and I'm originally from Romania. I've been living in Amsterdam for about 7 years and a half (mostly in flat-shares). I've just entered my 30s and I work as a sustainability manager in a corporation, with hybrid work schedule and occasional business travel. I'm queer and so it's important for me that my future flatmate is an ally and supports lgbtq+ rights (or, even better, part of the community too). I've got quite a few hobbies at the moment (drums, barre, kickboxing, improv) and an active social life, but I also enjoy having quiet evenings at home now and then. My love language is feeding other people, so naturally that would be one of the perks coming with the room!

I'm searching for someone that is planning to stay long-term (at least a year) and has an employment contract (requirement for the landlady's approval). It would be great if our lifestyles are somewhat similar e.g. you also work hybrid and are happy to match our schedules to share a desk in the living room. Goes without saying, but respect, communication, tidiness are essential, and a little excitement doesn't hurt to make this a fun experience!
