About the place

In my house, a 28 m² room is available on the second floor, with its own kitchenette and a foldaway bed (see photo). The location is near the Steigereiland tram stop.

The toilet and shower are shared with my 22 year old studying daughter, who is there at most three evenings a week. She has a room in Utrecht and usually comes home late and mainly just to sleep. So most of the time you will be alone and undisturbed.

The house has five floors, including this half floor, and this room is offered for rent. I live there with my partner and daughter on the ground floor and first floor. The third floor is used as a workspace.

Apart from occasionally meeting on the stairs, we will not really run into each other in the house. It is almost a self contained living space. You will have full privacy. We do not need to interact at all, but if you would like to say hello or have a chat, that is also welcome.

The room is fully furnished with a double foldaway bed, a small sofa, side tables, a dining or computer table, an office chair, and possibly additional dining chairs if needed.

The rent is 1,100 euros per month, including heating, electricity, use of WiFi, and a possible television connection.

We are social people and work as coaches, trainers, and educators.

Preference is for someone who works full time.
The rental contract is initially for one year, with the possibility of extending for another two years or longer if it is a good fit.
