About the place

Hi everyone, 

I am looking for two flatmates to share a 78m² apartment in Amsterdam West. The apartment is located between Mercatorplein and Rembrandtpark. 
There are two rooms available from 01.10.2026 - 31.07.2027. Registration with the municipality is possible.

This advertisement concerns 1 of 2 available rooms. (For the second room please see separate Kamernet ad):

The room is 17 m² and comes with large closet as well as direct access to the balcony. It is otherwise unfurnished although I do have a spare bed that we can place for you if you want that. 
The rest of the apartment is fully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, cozy living room, washing machine and of course WIFI. 
 
The monthly rent for this room is € 830,- (excluding utilities) plus a 1 months’deposit. Monthly utility costs are approx. € 83,- per person. There is also a cleaner who comes every 2 weeks and for whom we share the costs of € 40,- per person. Lastly, there are annual costs of approx. €261,- for water and waste disposal taxes (amount already adjusted to 10 rental period of 10 months). 

Shops, parks, public transport, and several nice bars and restaurants are nearby.  

Together with the landlords I am looking for someone aged 28+ who works full-time. I am myself 43 and work fulltime. I m originally from Germany, and have been living in Amsterdam for 12 years. I am used to sharing appartments and never had a probelm before with it. For the rest, I very much hope to be nice person otherwise.

•	It is really not possible to rent the rooms to students (PhDs welcome). 
•	I understand that it can be frustrating to not receive a response but from experience I know that sometimes there are so many messages that it is simply not possible to respond to everyone individually. I will however either invite you to come round have a look at the place or at least inform you once the rooms have been rented.
