About the place

I am looking for a new roommate for my apartment located in Amsterdam-West. The apartment is quite spacious, with plenty of natural light and room. It is situated near Plein 40-45, and shops, supermarkets, and public transport are just a few minutes’ walk away.

In the apartment, the kitchen, toilet, bathroom, storage room, and other common areas are shared, and these are already furnished. You are welcome to use the kitchen equipment that is available, and the refrigerator is also shared. The bathroom includes both a bathtub and a rain shower. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, which are included in the rent.

The contract is a temporary sublet from March 6 until September 6, as I plan to leave the apartment myself around that time. You will be renting a private room in my apartment, while all other areas are shared. The room in question is shown in the last two photos you can see here. I am looking for a quiet and tidy subtenant who is open to having a chat now and then, but mainly does their own thing (which I do as well ;)).

It is available on relatively short notice, as my current subtenant needs to move out soon. The intended start date is March 6, but this can be slightly postponed in consultation. The contract requires one month’s deposit, which must be paid in advance and will be returned after the contract ends. The rent includes gas, water, electricity, and internet.

My current subtenant may also be interested in selling some furniture.
