About the place

This lovely, furnished studio apartment is temporarily available for rent from September 1, 2025, for a maximum period of one year. Registration at the address is mandatory, and an official rental contract will be provided.

IF INTERESTED, PLEASE ANSWER ALL OF THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:
Are you a student in the Netherlands and not yet registered as a resident of Amsterdam? If you are not a student, or if you are already registered as a resident of Amsterdam, please do not respond to my advertisement. If you respond anyway, I will report your response as inappropriate. What are you studying?
2. Do you have a valid EU/EEA passport, Dutch ID card, or do you currently have a valid residence permit?
3. Would you like to start renting from 1 September? For how long would you expect to rent the studio? (Maximum 1 year is possible)
4. In which country and city are you currently officially registered?
5. Do you already have official proof of your current registration?
6. Will you register at the studio address within the first week of the rental and remain registered there until the rental contract ends?
7. Will you live there alone or with someone else? If so, with whom?
8. Can you easily pay the €2,000 deposit?
9. What financial security can you provide regarding rent and utility costs? Financial security is very important to me.
10. Please include a clear photo of yourself, unless your profile picture is already sufficiently clear.
11. When would you be available to view the studio? August 24, 25 or 26 in the afternoon/evening, or another day? If you live farther away, please let me know when a digital meeting would be possible.

IMPORTANT
The studio is not suitable for children or babies. The building is noisy, so it must be quiet throughout the day, especially after 10:00 PM. No parties, pets or smoking are allowed. Strict building rules apply.
RENT
€1,200 per month, including service costs and excluding utilities (approximately €150 per month) and municipal taxes (estimated at approximately €550 per year).
STUDIO
The Westereind apartment complex is a national heritage building. Sloterdijk Station is only a few minutes' walk away. The studio is approximately 29 m², with a sunny west-facing balcony.
There are parking spaces in front of the building; a parking permit is required, which you can arrange yourself.

The studio has its own kitchen, shower, toilet and balcony. The building has an elevator, stairs, CCTV and a building manager who lives in the building. The entrance and hallways are cleaned several times a week.

FURNISHINGS
The studio is furnished and equipped with basic necessities: refrigerator with freezer compartment, gas stove, microwave, washing machine, crockery, cutlery, pans, kettle and hand blender. Also provided: vacuum cleaner, ironing board, iron, clothes hangers, bed linen, blankets, pillows and mirror.
(The photos were taken two years ago; the curtain around the bed has since been removed.)

HOUSING PERMIT
Before moving in, you must apply for and obtain a housing permit. This process can take several days to several weeks.
Requirement: valid EU/EEA passport or valid residence permit.

I am Dutch, so you are also welcome to respond in Dutch. During the viewing, I will share my public personal profile, which should give you additional confidence in my reliability.
I have very limited time and will therefore only respond to a few of the best candidates who can also PROVE the strongest financial security.
