About the place

A bright and comfortable 14 m² room will be available from 9 February 2026 in a newly built house in Amsterdam Zuidoost. Above the room there is an additional storage space of similar size, which can also be used as a sleeping area.

You will be sharing the house with 3 male housemates (ages 30–50), one of whom is abroad most of the time. The house is quiet and everyone does their own thing. Occasionally we chat in the kitchen over coffee. We follow a cleaning schedule, but otherwise there are no obligations.

The neighbourhood is safe and pleasant (I live here myself as a woman and feel very comfortable). There is a park nearby for running, and Albert Heijn and Lidl are about 5 minutes by bike.

Accessibility:

5 minutes by bike to Bijlmer Arena station

About 17 minutes to Amsterdam Central or Utrecht Central

Easy access by car (no free parking in the area)

The landlord is very friendly and easy to communicate with. One of the housemates has lived here for 5 years. The landlord is considering selling the house in 2027, but this would be done in consultation with the tenants and there are no definite plans at this time.
