About the place

Hi,

We have a room for rent in our beautiful house in Amsterdam East, in the Borneo neighborhood.
The house is spacious (100m²), with a large living room, kitchen, separate bathroom, office, and garden. The bedroom you would rent is 18m² with a lovely four-poster bed (160x200 cm), a wardrobe, and a desk. Nearby is the Brazilië shopping center with everything you need. Public transport around the corner goes directly to Amsterdam Central Station or Amstel Station.

I'm going away for the winter, so you'll be sharing the house with a very nice housemate (French man, Xavier, 32 years old, mathematician). He speaks English and French. He works mainly at the University of Amsterdam during the week and stays every other weekend abroad with his girlfriend. So you'll often have the house all to yourself, and in the evenings and weekends, you'll have a cozy time together. We sometimes cook together and have drinks every now and then on the weekends, but otherwise, we live our own lives.

So we're looking for a fun, mature person who also does their own thing. The house is tidy, but we're not crazy about cleaning. Relaxed, but no mess.

Rent is €1000 per month, and the room is available for 2.5 months, from January 15th to March 31st. We'd like someone to rent for the entire period (so €2500).

We require a half month deposit (€500).
