About the place

Because part of the family is traveling, we have space available on our houseboat. Our current tenant has found a home with an indefinite lease.
A unique opportunity to live under the deck of a cargo ship! This space includes a room with a 2-person bed, desk, built-in closets, built-in sink and toilet. The wheelhouse is also included and is a nice place to sit with a great view over the harbor. You will also share a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room and terrace with our studying daughter (s). It is in a calm neighbourhood (Oostelijk Havengebied, within the ring of Amsterdam, easily reachable). We are looking for a chill, tidy, independent person or couple (no parties, no smoking, no pets). The available period is May 1st to October 1st 2026. In agreement adjustement of start and end date is possible. The rent is 1000 euros a month (excluding utilities, based on actual use estimation 140 euros a month). You have to register at this address (Hospitaverhuur), a parking permit is possible.
