About the place

Starting November 1st, I am looking for a new roommate for a beautiful apartment in Amsterdam. You'll have your own comfortable 8 m² room with a large window facing the west-facing balcony, allowing you to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun.

The rest of the apartment is shared. We have a cozy living room with a large corner sofa and access to a spacious balcony where you can relax in the sun during the afternoon. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a combination oven/microwave, dishwasher, and a large dining table that also works perfectly as a home office space.

The bathroom includes a toilet, a good shower, and a sink. There is also plenty of room in the hallway for shoes, coats, and drying laundry. In addition, we have a separate laundry/storage room with extra storage space. The apartment is part of a newly built residential complex and comes with a private storage unit and, if desired, a parking space in the garage.

The Location:

The location is excellent. We live directly above a shopping center with, among others, a Lidl, Albert Heijn, Kruidvat, and a gym. There are also several restaurants and other dining options nearby. If you're looking for some greenery and peace, Rembrandt Park is just a short walk away.

Accessibility is also great:
- Metro station within a 5-minute walk;
- Amsterdam Lelylaan station approximately 15 minutes away on foot;
- Amsterdam city center reachable within 20 minutes by bike.

About Me:

I'm looking for a roommate around my age who works full-time (this is also a requirement of the rental contract). I work in Gouda and spend most weekdays at the office, with the occasional work-from-home day. During the week, I usually leave early in the morning by car and return home in the late afternoon.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active, whether it's cycling on my road bike or going for a run in Vondelpark. I also like making the most of everything the city has to offer. I have a girlfriend as well, and I regularly spend weekends with her.

I enjoy sharing a meal together from time to time when our schedules align, so good recipes are always appreciated. I also find it important to keep the apartment tidy, and we clean the apartment together on a weekly basis.

Most importantly, I'm looking for someone who values a relaxed and friendly living environment where we both feel at home. Ideally, you're social, independent, have your own life and routine, and enjoy having the occasional chat, watching a movie together, or doing something fun every now and then.
