About the place

Are you temporarily moving to Utrecht and looking for a comfortable, fully furnished place? We are renting out our cozy ground-floor apartment for 6 weeks, as we’ll be traveling to New Zealand—and we’d love to share our home with others.

We renovated the house ourselves in 2025. It’s fully equipped with all modern comforts and truly our pride and joy. The apartment features:

A spacious bedroom
A separate home office (ideal for remote work)
A bright living room with an open kitchen
A modern bathroom
A separate toilet
A large, sunny garden—perfect for relaxing

The garden is especially beautiful in autumn (October/November), when—just like the trees in the city—everything turns into warm autumn colors.

The apartment is located in the quiet and pleasant Zeeheldenbuurt neighborhood, on the edge of Utrecht’s city center. The center is about a 20-minute walk or a 5–10 minute bike ride away. Nearby, you’ll find cozy cafés, parks, and a shopping center within walking or cycling distance.

We have two lovely cats, but they will be staying with people in our network during our trip, so no need to worry about them. We would, however, appreciate it if you could water our houseplants from time to time 🌿

We’re looking for a tidy tenant (or couple) who will take good care of our home. The apartment is rented fully furnished.

Period: October 15 to November 26, 2026 (6 weeks)
Rent: €3500 per month, excluding gas/water/electricity
Other: 1 month’s rent as deposit
