About the place

🏡 Short-term rental in Leiden – January to March 2027 🐱

I’ll be travelling abroad for a couple of months, from 10 January until 10 March 2027 (exact dates still to be confirmed), and I’m looking for someone to stay in my apartment while I’m away.

Ideally, I’m looking for a person or couple who will treat the apartment as their own and, preferably, take care of my cat Hennie while I’m away. So, if you’re a cat lover, that would definitely be a big plus! 😊

About the apartment
The apartment is approximately 50 m² and consists of:
•	1 bedroom
•	Living room with an open kitchen
•	Bathroom
•	Separate laundry/storage room

The apartment is fully furnished, and you’re welcome to use everything that's there, including the kitchen equipment, furniture, washing machine, etc.

📍 Location
The apartment is located in the north of Leiden, in a quiet and convenient area.
•	🛒 Supermarket: approximately 100 metres away
•	🚲 Leiden city centre: about 8 minutes by bike
•	🚲 You're welcome to use my bike during your stay if you don't have one yourself.

💰 Rent
The rent is €1,150 per month, including:
•	Gas, water and electricity (max €150,- per month)
•	Internet
•	TV
•	Fully furnished accommodation

The exact rental period and dates can be discussed, as I'm still finalising my travel plans.

🐱 And of course… Hennie!
The most important part of the deal: Hennie! 😸
He's an easy-going cat and would ideally stay in his own familiar surroundings while I'm away. So, I'm hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys having a cat around and is happy to give him some attention and care.
