Huize Picassa is looking for a new housemate! The room that will become available is around 11–12 m², in a spacious student house with a shared living room and kitchen of around 50 m², with 6 roommates. The kitchen has a large countertop and everything you need to cook up a good meal, including an industrial gas stove, an oven, an air fryer and plenty of pots and pans. We also have a garden of around 50 m², which we share with our neighbours, although we use most of it ourselves, perfect for summer drinks, BBQs or a party with friends! The house is located in Enschede-Noord, conveniently situated between the city centre, the University of Twente and Saxion, meaning you can get pretty much anywhere in just 5–10 minutes.

As for us the roommates, we're a pretty sporty bunch! Most of us hit the gym regularly or do some other kind of sport, and 3/4 out of the 6 housemates play(ed) rugby, so if you're somewhat sporty yourself, you'll fit right in! We're a friendly and social house, but don't expect mandatory house nights or to eat together every evening. Everyone has their own schedule and a busy life, so there's plenty of room to do your own thing. That said, we definitely enjoy a drink together, usually somewhere in the city, partly because our friend groups overlap quite a bit. You could describe us as somewhat older students, with ages ranging from 21 to 27. Everyone has their own things going on, but there's still plenty of room for spontaneous drinks, good conversations and fun times together. Half of us study at the University of Twente, while the other half study at Saxion. Our current housemates include two Dutchies, one Irishman and one Spaniard, so being comfortable speaking English is a must!
