Depending on the circumstances, the maximum rental period is between 6 and 12 months. For students, the rental period is one year, with the possibility of a one-time extension for a maximum of one additional year.

The ‘additional costs’ include fibre-optic internet, gas, water, electricity, furnishings, and municipal taxes, such as the waste collection charge. The amount of these costs is stated in the advertisement. Therefore, no separate contracts need to be arranged for these services.

The surrounding area

Public transport
The apartment is approximately a five-minute walk from the Eendrachtsplein public transport hub and Dijkzigt metro station. The city centre is only a two-minute walk away, while Rotterdam Central Station can be reached on foot in just twelve minutes.

From Eendrachtsplein metro station, you can easily travel towards The Hague, changing trains at Schiedam. You can also travel directly to Hoek van Holland for a relaxing walk along the beach. From Rotterdam Central Station, the Intercity Direct provides fast connections to Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam.

Accessibility by car
Parking is available in the surrounding streets or in one of the nearby car parks. The motorways towards The Hague and Utrecht can be reached within approximately fifteen minutes. The Maastunnel is also easily accessible.

Shopping, dining and nightlife
The apartment is just around the corner from Nieuwe Binnenweg, with supermarkets such as Albert Heijn and Dirk only a short walk away. Excellent restaurants, welcoming cafés and distinctive shops are all within easy reach. Jordy’s Bakery and Koekela are located directly across the street.

The apartment is also ideally situated for shopping, right on the edge of the city centre and close to Lijnbaan and Binnenwegplein.

There is something to suit every taste when it comes to dining. Nieuwe Binnenweg and Kruiskade are known for their wide variety of restaurants. De Pijp, Rotterdam’s oldest restaurant, is particularly worth a visit.

For an evening out, venues such as Jazzcafé Dizzy, Westerpaviljoen, Rotown and Biercafé Boudewijn are all close by. Fancy watching a film? KINO cinema is just around the corner, while Cinerama and Pathé are approximately a five-minute walk away. This gives you a wide choice of both mainstream and arthouse films.

Art and culture
This is an excellent location for art and culture enthusiasts. Kunsthal Rotterdam, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen, the Nieuwe Instituut and the Natural History Museum Rotterdam are all within walking distance.

There are no fewer than eight galleries within a radius of approximately 120 metres, three of which are located on the same street.

Green spaces and recreation
In pleasant weather, Museumpark is approximately a five-minute walk away. Het Park near the Euromast can be reached on foot in around fifteen minutes. At the end of the street, you will also find an attractive shared city garden where various activities are regularly organised.

For impressive views of Rotterdam’s skyline, a walk along the River Maas is highly recommended.

Various primary and secondary schools, universities of applied sciences and university institutions are located nearby.
