APARTMENT
On the first floor of this 1880 building you will find this cozy apartment, lovingly put together over the course of a decade. Fitted with modern comforts, it includes a newly renovated (2021) bathroom with rain shower and kitchen with breakfast table, a spaceous bedroom (renovated 2023) with room to stretch out and do some home exercise, livingroom with open office and a home cinema, and a small ensuite studio. 

NEIGHBORHOOD
The world famous Albert Cuyp market is right outside the door. It operates 6 days a week, offering food from all over the world, local delicacies & products. You will find an abundance of bars, restaurants and cafes right outside your doorstep, as well as the beautiful Sarphati park at 3 mins walk. There are 5 supermarkets within a 5 min walk. The city centre and all subway lines are just 5-10 mins away by bike.

LOOKING FOR
I'm a freelancer who will be on the road for a month. During this time I'd like to open my space to someone either visiting Amsterdam, or working here and looking for a temporary place from which to search for their permanent place. 
This is my home as well as my work studio, and a lot of love has gone into putting it together -- some of the furniture was built by ourselves so one of a kind! I am looking for a working individual or a couple who will be able to appreciate these things and feel at home here while taking good care of the space in return. 
No smoking, pets, or parties, and please take off your shoes inside the house. 
I have a few plants that do need water about once every 1.5 weeks.
The listed price is per month. The price for the 28-night rental period is €1800. This could be extended by 1 or 2 days as needed at a prorated price of €65 a night.
I will provide a rental agreement for us to sign before the start of the lease.

POTENTIAL EXTRA FEES
The listed price includes all utilities (gas/electricity/water/internet) that are around €200/month together with average use. If gas/electricity usage is significantly higher than average, an extra fee will be charged in proportion to the usage.
Same logic for the cleaning; please leave the space in a tidy condition the way you found it. If it's neccessary to hire a professional cleaner afterwards, the incurred costs will be deducted from the deposit (around €150).

VIEWING OPPORTUNITY
I will make a selection of the responses I receive and invite them to come by for a viewing, likely Sunday April 21st. For those not yet in Amsterdam, I can do a video tour.
