Wanneer het mij lukt om een mooi appartement te verkrijgen in Groningen ben ik van plan om op zoek te gaan naar een werkplek in Groningen. Ik ben bewust opzoek naar een net appartement in Groningen omdat ik dit erg belangrijk vind. Ik hou van een rustige en schone leefomgeving om mij te kunnen concentreren op mijn studie en werk. Ik heb een aanvullende en uitwonende beurs en een spaarpot op kunnen bouwen omdat ik al een langere tijd aan het werk ben. Momenteel woon ik thuis in Friesland, dit is voor mijn werk en studie veel gereis. Naast dat ik graag dichterbij mijn studie wil wonen ben ik er klaar voor om op mijzelf te gaan. Ik ben Merel en ben 20 jaar (bijna 21). In september ga ik beginnen aan de bachelor media en cultuur aan de UVA. In mijn vrije tijd speel ik harp, dit doe ik nu al 14 jaar. Naast muziek maken, houd ik ervan om creatief bezig te zijn en mijzelf te verdiepen in kunst en cultuur. Ik bezoek graag musea, ga regelmatig naar concerten en verzamel vinylplaten. Ook ben ik een filmliefhebber en fotografeer ik graag. Ook lees ik graag boeken. Ik heb al ervaring met op mijzelf wonen, vorig jaar woonde ik namelijk met 9 andere huisgenoten in Enschede. Momenteel woon ik weer bij mijn ouders thuis. Hi! I'm Yaren, I moved to the Netherlands last year and have been working at the MPI for almost a year now, so I think it is safe to say that I have grown accustomed to the culture and the way of living here. I consider myself to be a clean, social and warm person (amidst all the rain!) :) I am a vegetarian who loves to cook (I make really mean dumplings!), bake and sing and a typical week for me is mostly working/studying but I also like going out for long walks and grabbing a couple drinks with friends. Even though I like going to parties every once in a while, I wouldn't say I'm a big party person.
