Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Pearks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. Vanwege de mantelzorg voor mijn ouders (88 jaar) die in Bloemendaal wonen, zoek ik een kamer in Haarlem e.o. Zelf woon ik in het midden van het land en rijd de hele tijd op en neer. Heel vermoeiend. Ik zal ca. 3-4 nachten per week in Haarlem zijn. Ik ben vlotte, moderne 61 jarige vrouw, heb twee kinderen van 23 en 25 jaar en ben een rustig, gezellig en net persoon. Ik heb een full time baan, werk af en toe thuis en heb wel wifi nodig. Dat geldt ook voor een parkeerplaats voor mijn auto. Is parkeren in de buurt mogelijk? Ik heb tijdens mijn studie in een studentenhuis gewoond en weet hoe het is om samen te leven en voorzieningen te delen. Overigens kom ik oorspronkelijk uit Overveen en ken ik Haarlem goed.
