Hi! Mijn naam is Marc. Ik ben 30 jaar en werkend als uitvoerend muzikant. In 2019 ben ik afgestudeerd van het Conservatorium van Amsterdam en momenteel zoekende naar een nieuwe woning in Amsterdam. Ik speel in 2 bands, TAPE TOY & Indian Askin, dat is voornamelijk mijn werk. Daarnaast werk ik op productieklussen (muziek) en doe ik veel sessie-werk als drummer. Ik beoefen en bespeel mijn instrument niet thuis! Daarvoor heb ik een studio in Amsterdam Noord. Naast mijn werk en muziek ga ik er graag op uit en zoek graag gezelligheid op. Mijn werktijden zijn vrij onregelmatig. Daardoor ben ik ook vaak overdag thuis. Ik vind het fijn om onder de mensen te zijn, daarom vind ik het geen probleem om een woning met huisgenoten te delen maar woon ik ook graag op mijzelf. De afgelopen jaren heb ik in Amsterdam gewoond maar ben momenteel weer met urgentie op zoek naar een nieuwe woonruimte. Als er iets concreet is bel ik graag even. Groetjes!

Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. I am a motivated 3rd-year Data Science student at the TU/e and TiU, passing all of my courses with high grades. Furthermore, my commitment to self-development allows me to be on track to obtain the cum laude honor on my diploma. In my professional life, I am highly ambitious and this led me to seek and fulfill an internship at ASML. (I intend to take on new challenges when studying in Amsterdam). In my free time, I love playing chess - I’ve been competing at the national and international level since I was eight years old, which allowed me to become a medalist at multiple national championships (I also won the Dutch Student Chess Championship in 2023). Thanks to this experience, I am a chess coach which allows me to earn around 300-400 euros a month and gives me a lot of fun. Furthermore, apart from my personal income, I am also financially supported by my family and their income greatly surpasses the rent. Hoi ik ben Jeroen! Ik verhuis deze zomer naar Arnhem om aan de studie tuin- en landschapsinrichting te beginnen. Ik houd dus van groen! Ook het water is een geliefde plek voor mij, ik houd van zeilen en reizen en ben o.a. naar de Caribbean en naar IJsland gezeild.
