My professional journey began with an internship at King during the summer of my third year of university, followed by another one at Ubisoft during my final year. I lived with my parents during university, then shared an apartment with a friend for a year and a half, and most recently, shared an apartment with three flatmates for two years. Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Dear future landlords, In the following description you’ll find a few essential details about myself, although there is much more to share but that I hope will be possible during an in person viewing. I am a 29 year old girl from Serbia, been living here since April 2022, although Amsterdam was my favorite city since I first moved here for two years before the pandemic. I work in the heart of Amsterdam at one of the leading hotels and will be starting my Dutch language courses in a few weeks time in order to finally be able to maintain a longer conversation in het Nederlands. Furthermore, I like hiding in my own little bubble, but once in a while I am definitely open to leave it behind for a night out at a drum and bass festival to enjoy my favorite music genre. Some of my hobbies include jogging, longboarding, cycling, slacklining, cleaning (mild ocd, just enough to always keep the apartment tidy), however, I love to read and nothing feels more cosy than doing so in the comfort of my own studio.
