I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. I recently got accepted for a master's degree in Game and Media Technology in Utrecht and I am looking to move there this August. I want to rent a place for the entire duration of the studies and since I plan on remaining there after i finish them, a possiblity for a longer duration would also be nice. I love video games, although I spend more time making them than playing them. I also like hosting board game nights with my friends. I am obsessed with cats, but I do not have one. I spend a lot of time reading fantasy or history books. Also, if you need a gym partner, let me know.

Hallo! Mijn naam is Misha en ik ben 22 jaar oud. Op het moment studeer ik E-Commerce Specialist en werk ik aan mijn eigen bedrijfje. Mijn studie is een versnelde MBO 4 opleiding die ik zo snel mogelijk wil afronden om daarna door te stromen haar het hbo (Associate Degree Ondernemen). Ik woon sinds februari in Groningen, alleen is dat onderverhuur en eindigt mijn contract op 30 maart. Daarom ben ik nu actief opzoek naar een nieuwe kamer met hopelijk een wat langere periode! Ik vind het leuk om mensen te ontmoeten, nieuwe dingen te doen zoals sporten, naar evenementen gaan of het terras op te gaan met vrienden. Verder ben ik ook graag creatief bezig, vooral met mijn 3D printer. Ik kan ook echt genieten van een leuk feestje, maar soms even to rust komen is ook belangrijk. Ik ben Thijs, 24 jaar oud en ben momenteel bezig met het behalen van mijn masters in Aerospace Engineering. Ik heb in 4 verschillende landen gewoond, Rusland, Trinidad & Tobago, Hong Kong, en Nederland. Ik ben dus de hele wereld over geweest! Dit studiejaar volg ik een schakelprogramma (premaster Bestuurs- en Organisatiewetenschap) om hopelijk aankomend studiejaar van start te gaan bij de master Sportbeleid en sportmanagement aan Universiteit Utrecht. Met veel plezier werk ik als projectcoördinator bij Gehandicaptensport Nederland, gevestigd in Papendorp. Ik ben graag van betekenis voor mensen, vandaar dat ik met veel passie in de aangepaste sportwereld werk! Ik ben een sportliefhebber en fanatiek (wedstrijd)hardloper. Dit doe ik ongeveer 5 à 6 keer per week en ben ook af en toe te vinden bij AV Phoenix in Maarschalkerweerd. Ik zou het tof vinden om samen met huisgenoten (jullie) een leuke tijd te hebben: bijvoorbeeld dat de deur voor elkaar openstaat of lekker samen te eten.
