My native language is Portuguese, and I am fluent in English; in addition to, I have studied Spanish, French, Dutch, and Italian. While studying abroad, I worked as a live-inn nanny. Which means that, I know how to live with others sharing a house. I respect people's privacy and I expect the same from my future housemates. I always kept the common areas of the house organized, helped with cooking, and garbage recycling, and spent a lot of quality time in the living room watching TV shows or grabbing a glass of wine with my host family. On the other hand, I enjoy having my own space and some quiet time too; in my room, studying languages online, listening to music, and calling my family in Brazil. Some of my hobbies are barbecuing with friends, going to the beach, watching Netflix shows, drinking coffee outside in the sun, traveling, and playing board games. I will be moving to Groningen to study Human Geography and Planning (starting 1.9.2024). Currently I live in Hannover, Germany and work as a software developer in a small company. I would like to live in a shared flat to get to know the culture and of course the language. It would be great if the flat was within biking distance from the university, but more importantly it should have a good atmosphere and nice flatmates. I have been living in shared flats for the last 8 years, so let's say I have some experience in living with people.
