Hoi! Ik ben Matthijs en ik ben 19 jaar oud. Aankomend studiejaar ga ik beginnen aan de bachelor sociologie in Nijmegen. Ik ben veel op de hockeyclub te vinden. Zo speel ik zelf 2 keer in de week en geef ik training aan de kleintjes onder 10 jaar. In mijn vrije tijd vind ik het heel erg leuk om te koken. Voor vrienden, familie, maar ook om mezelf te verwennen (vooral met de risotto, dat is toch wel mijn favoriet). Verder vind ik het erg gezellig om regelmatig een spelletjesavond te houden en ben ik ook altijd in voor een wandelingetje. Ik zoek een gezellig, maar ook rustig studentenhuis waarin er veel contact is tussen de huisgenoten. Denk aan samen avondeten of spelletjesavonden houden. I'm Thomas, a Canadian living in Amsterdam for just over five years now, first as a physics student at the UvA and now as a research scientist developing alkaline battery/power-to-hydrogen devices. Like many Canadians, I grew up enjoying the outdoors and playing ice hockey. The hiking isn't quite as good in Amsterdam as it was in the Rocky Mountains, and I mostly climb indoors now, but I do still get to play/coach ice hockey two nights a week and this time of year I spend many weekends trekking to our away games all over the Netherlands.

I am 26 years old, finishing my Masters thesis in International Relations and love meeting friends for coffee, going to flea markets and taking pictures with my analog camera:)
