I'm Roger, from Barcelona, and after some time settling into life in the Netherlands, I've recently secured a full-time job in Amsterdam. Now, I'm on the lookout for a room in a shared apartment. I take pride in keeping things tidy and organised, but I'm equally enthusiastic about being social and spending quality time with roommates, even I have my own community in Amsterdam, most of whom I met during my master in Maastricht. I like spending my free time hanging out, doing some sport (I used to play basketball, but it was not a career to follow… ;) ) or travelling around. In terms of my job, I work in Amsterdam Zuid, having at most 1 or 2 days remote work, however, some days i also have to go to Utrecht.

I was born and raised in Portugal but I'm used to being in foreignn countries as my dad is (and has been since I was a kid) working in Switzerland. I also have a little bit of experience living with other people in a different country since I spent a year working in the United States of America. I'm a laid back person and don't like disturbing others so I tend to keep to myself. As for hobbies I'm currently very into Magic: The Gathering (a card game) and about a year ago I picked up reading more seriously and have been going at it ever since (and amassed a tiny collection in the meanwhile), I also am a nature enjoyer (even gastronomically as I am vegetarian) so I do enjoy hiking (especially the discovery aspect of it)! I'm looking for a place to live in starting this august (or sooner!) as I'm going to be starting a Bachelor's in Internation Relations in the University of Groningen!

I finished my bachelors in Prague, now I'm planning on doing my masters in Rotterdam and so I'm looking for a room in a clean and tidy flat/household in Rotterdam. In my free time I like playing ukulele, baking, going for concerts (oh yes, and to cafés) or taking a random train to anywhere and wander around there (it makes me feel like an adventurer ha). I'd like to live in a flat where people like to do things together, from board games to drinks or maybe some sports (I'm not big on those, but I'd like t start!), but where there's enough space for everyone to do their own thing. It would be great to live at a place where people are considerate and respectful of one another, and it would be amazing if it could be a safe space for everyone there - and that's what I'd like to help create!
