I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. Hello :) I am looking for a room/studio to move in as soon as possible, since the contract of my current accommodation is about to expire. I have been living in Utrecht 3 years now. I arrived as a student doing my masters here, Business and Social Impact and now I am working as an Accounting Administrator at Doctors Without Borders (MSF). Contract can be indicated if required. I will start with the cliches that I am a tidy and clean person (indeed) and a big fan of having always a clean toilet - even when the whole house is a bit disorganized. My day usually starts with working, then chilling at home and then go out for a beer with friends, watch movies/documentaries or trashy reality shows (it can happen to everyone), go to gigs, explore. Although 28 years old, sometimes 73 in soul. I also enjoy going for bouldering and every Friday I am volunteering in refugee camps, playing with teenagers. I'm an Italian student, and I'm looking for a place in Delft, where I'll begin my studies in September 2024, at TU Delft.

I will be moving to Groningen to study Human Geography and Planning (starting 1.9.2024). Currently I live in Hannover, Germany and work as a software developer in a small company. I would like to live in a shared flat to get to know the culture and of course the language. It would be great if the flat was within biking distance from the university, but more importantly it should have a good atmosphere and nice flatmates. I have been living in shared flats for the last 8 years, so let's say I have some experience in living with people.

Geachte ontvanger, Kort over ons, Hevrest (23) is een master student aan de UvA en Saurab (23) een derdejaars student aan de Universiteit van Utrecht. Wij hebben al eerder met elkaar in een studentenhuis gewoond, maar willen nu we ouder zijn onze rust. Wij werken allebei 16 - 20 uur in de week, voornamelijk vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag. Voor de volledige huur kunnen wij garant staan totdat wij een derde huisgenoot hebben gevonden. De ouders van Saurab kunnen bovendien garant staan voor de huur en alle drie de inwoners.
