I'm Yaren, I moved to the Netherlands last year and have been working at the MPI for almost a year now, so I think it is safe to say that I have grown accustomed to the culture and the way of living here. I consider myself to be a clean, social and warm person (amidst all the rain!) :) I am a vegetarian who loves to cook (I make really mean dumplings!), bake and sing and a typical week for me is mostly working/studying but I also like going out for long walks and grabbing a couple drinks with friends. Even though I like going to parties every once in a while, I wouldn't say I'm a big party person.

I am PhD scholar at IIT Bombay in India. I will visiting University of Groningen for this fall (September-November) as a visiting researcher. I am looking for a furnished room for three months starting from 1 September 2024.

Hoi! Ik ben Linde, ik woon in Amersfoort en ik begin in september met de studie Communicatiewetenschap in Nijmegen. Aangezien ik liever niet elke dag uren in de trein zit, ben ik op zoek naar een gezellig studentenhuis waar ik kan wonen :) Ik heb veel hobby's: pianospelen, zeilen, Netflixen, lezen, naar de bios en dagjes weg met vriendinnen (nog veel meer, maar dit kan ik zo even bedenken). Daarnaast wil ik in Nijmegen bij een sportvereniging gaan; suggesties zijn welkom! De afgelopen tijd ben ik meer zelf gaan koken - het lijkt mij heel leuk om in een huis terecht te komen waar samen gegeten wordt. Ik heb zin om regelmatig met mijn huisgenoten de stad in te gaan, maar ik hou evenveel van een chillavondje thuis met een film of spelletje. Hey my name is Marah and I’m 19 years and from Germany. I finished school in June and am currently living abroad before I want to start studying sport management in September.
