Hey, I'm Jana, 20 years old, from Frankfurt Germany. I will start my international bachelor's degree in psychology in Leiden in September. So I'm looking for a room in Leiden/near Leiden from June/July/August on. About me: I graduated from high school last summer and decided to travel Europe. There I worked in different hostels and always shared a dorm with the other lovely volunteers. The 4 months have taught me a lot about being independent and tidying up my stuff and keeping things clean. But it helped me even more to learn to share a room with so many other people from other cultures and to live together and set boundaries as well as to accept those of others. Apart from traveling, I love going out with friends for a few drinks, dancing to house music and wine evenings on the balcony. On the other hand, I also love having really quiet evenings where we just sit together relax, chat, maybe cook and watch a movie. In my free time I go to the gym regularly. And just recently I've gotten to do yoga and Pilates a little more, which I also really enjoy. I am also a very creative person who likes to do crafts, paint or make pottery. And I also enjoy doing it with friends! About the room I would imagine a room around 15 m2 in size. But more important about the roomies. 1-3 roommates would be ideal - but I would have absolutely no problem with a larger number of roommates. Of course it would be great if the roommates were about the same age as me. Of course, I think it would be ideal if at some point as roommates you share hobbies and do things together((:

I will be moving to Groningen to study Human Geography and Planning (starting 1.9.2024). Currently I live in Hannover, Germany and work as a software developer in a small company. I would like to live in a shared flat to get to know the culture and of course the language. It would be great if the flat was within biking distance from the university, but more importantly it should have a good atmosphere and nice flatmates. I have been living in shared flats for the last 8 years, so let's say I have some experience in living with people.

Hello! I am a 21 year old Korean/Irish student starting the Computer Science course at TUDelft this September. I just finished my mandatory military service in Korea (I've completed lots of side quests like mowing, fixing cars, sweeping snow and cleaning, lots, LOTS of cleaning) so I have a degree of tidiness reinforced in me! I am currently looking for accommodation (like everyone else on this website ofc), preferrably shared since it's my first year living independently. For the majority of the time, I will be suffering in my room to try keep up with my studies, but as an extrovert, I will most likely not be able to refuse any invitations for a social event 😎 I might be hard to get along with if you like to live life a little more... carefree/spontaneous but I am willing to take up more of the cleaning duties if that will help keep accommodation tidy. As a hobby, I like working out and boxing, and I am trying to get back into reading (mostly non-fiction) and I wouldn't mind any recommendations! Oh also, if you like listening to lots of different genre of music, I think we will get along really well. Let me know if you think I could be your next possible roommate :)

Hi, mijn naam is Romkje en ik ben 20 jaar oud. Ik ga binnenkort de HBO opleiding Nederlands gebarentaal tolk in Utrecht doen en ben dus opzoek naar een kamer of studio. Ik ben een sociaal, rustig en creatief persoon, ik heb geen problemen met huisdieren en wil graag naast mijn studie een bijbaantje hebben. Ik spreek Nederlands, Engels en ik ben Duits aan het leren. Ik ben iemand die enorm kan genieten van een gezellige avond uit maar je vind me ook vaak genoeg met een boek op de bank of met mijn koptelefoon op in mijn eigen wereld. Een van mijn hobby’s is koken en ik vind het dan ook echt niet erg als ik een groeps maaltijd moet maken!
