I'm an open-minded and sociable person, but I highly respect others' boundaries and privacy. As someone who's orderly and detail-oriented, I know how to keep my living space clean. I love cooking and sharing food. I am into art, sports and the outdoors. I speak English and German fluently and I have been working to learn Dutch too. I cannot wait to meet my new housemates!

Hallo, Mijn naam is Marta (25, vrouw) en ik zoek naar een nieuwe woning! Over mezelf, ik promoveer in de scheikunde aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Mijn contract loopt tot November 2025, met mogelijkheid van verlenging. Ik doe zowel onderzoek als onderwijs, waarbij ik werk aan kennis die voor de energietransitie relevant zal zijn, iets waar ik zelf erg enthousiast van word. Ik kom zelf oorspronkelijk uit een dorp in de buurt van Barcelona, en ik ben in november 2021 naar Utrecht verhuisd om te beginnen met mijn onderzoek. Tijdens deze 2+ jaren heb ik meerdere Nederlandse taalcursussen gedaan, en nu ben ik blij om te zeggen dat ik in het dagelijks leven Nederlands gebruik met collega’s en huidige huisgenoten. Na ruim twee jaar zal ik mijn huidige huis verlaten omdat mijn huisbaas het huis wil verkopen. Ik kan dan ook per direct verhuizen. Ik houd mijn huis graag netjes, en ben niet een thuisblijvende persoon. Tijdens de week heb ik een werkend leven: ik ga elke dag naar de universiteit om in het laboratorium te werken, en daarna een paar keer per week doe ik sport op de universiteitscampus, en daarnaast doe ik Lindyhop, een populaire danssport in Utrecht. Als het mooi weer is ga ik graag hardlopen, rondjes wandelen of fietsen, of buiten een boekje in de zon lezen. Als het slechter weer is vind ik het leuk om musea te bezoeken. Ik hou ook van reizen, waarbij mijn topbestemming natuurlijk Barcelona is om familie en vrienden te bezoeken. Daarnaast vind ik het leuk om treinreizen in Europa te doen. Ik hoop dat ik met deze brief een beter plaatje schets van wie ik ben. Als extra informatie voeg ik ook een paar foto’s van mij toe. Hey my name is Marah and I’m 19 years and from Germany. I finished school in June and am currently living abroad before I want to start studying sport management in September. Therefore I’m looking for a room in Groningen. I’m open for anything, could be a shared household, a studio or even an apartment with up to 3 bedrooms. The price per room I’m looking for is max 700 euros incl. Preferably I would like to start renting the room in July but for the right fit I’m willing to rent it earlier. My big passion is sports, especially the gym and all kind of outdoor sports. I just completed my PT license and hope to work in a gym in addition to my studies. During my year abroad I’m partly living with a family as an aupair so definitely know what it means to successfully live together. I can’t say no to a coffee and love playing board games but am not that much of a partying person:)
