I'm a painter (studied fine arts in the university of Athens), currently I'm working as a data engineer, and I work a pretty normal 8-5 schedule. During the week, I'm usually in bed by 10:30 and up by 6. I would describe myself as an easy going and independent person. I'm social, but also appreciate my time alone. I appreciate having guests but am mindful of other's comfort, and would always be open and communicative about having people over, and much the same would appreciate room mates to be open with me as well. I'm open to developing friendships but do not see this as a top priority in searching for a roommate. It is important to have a good level of understanding and respect of our mutual space. I like to keep my living space clean and organized and am the type of person to wash dishes as they are made. I'm looking to move in sometime during June. I'm hoping to find a house near Amsterdam Oost region. I would like my own bedroom, and I'm open to living with 1-3 other people. Ideally, the house would have a yard or at least a porch. If the bedrooms are sized differently enough to justify different prices, I'm happy staying in the larger or smaller room.

Hey, mijn naam is Sam. Ik ben 21 jaar en heb op dit moment een tussenjaar, waarin ik (iets minder dan) full time werkzaam ben als sales medewerker voor kpn. Ik heb na de HAVO te hebben afgerond de studie Social Work gedaan voor 3 jaar. Dit was in corona tijd en het liep uiteindelijk niet zo lekker, omdat ik een wat ander beeld van de studie had dan deze in elkaar stak, dus ben ik er dit schooljaar mee gestopt. In mijn tussenjaar werk ik veel en oriënteer ik me om een nieuwe studie te starten in september. Ik hou van uitgaan, op terras zitten met vrienden, huis feestjes en chillen met mijn vrienden. In mijn vrije tijd speel ik gitaar, game ik graag en kijk ik veel films en series (op dit moment Narcos op Netflix ;) ). Verder spendeer ik mijn zaterdagen als vrijwilliger op de scouting vereniging, waar ik kinderen on de leeftijdsgroep 7-11 begeleid om zichzelf en de wereld om zich heen te ontdekken. Daarnaast hou ik nog van voetbal kijken. Ik ben dus ook op zoek naar een kamer in Groningen. Ik ben nu bijna 21 en het voelt als het juiste moment om het ouderlijk nest te verlaten en ben dus op zoek naar een eigen plekje in Groningen voordat ik mijn nieuwe studie begin. I'm 25 year old student currently living in Groningen for my studies. I'm moving to Utrecht to be closer to work and so I'm on the look out for a nice place and flatmates, as I will be in need of some friends :) I've shared an appartment for 4 years during my bachelor's with 3 other girls and loved the experience! Made friends for life and always had company for everything (from chilling to partying). Because of that, I also learned to share responsabilities and keep the place tidy and clean so that it's a nice place for everyone to live. And of course, to respect people's personal space haha. I've also lived in a student house for 7 months in 2022 while in my Erasmus in Zurich, where I shared a flat with other 14 international students. Also a great experience!
