Ik studeer de master Finance aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, welke ik over 3 maanden afrond. Verder heb ik een bijbaan bij Swapfiets Haarlem en de Jopenkerk. Ik heb mijn leven in Haarlem centrum opgebouwd en wil hier ontzettend graag blijven wonen. Na de zomer ga ik fulltime werken in Haarlem of Amsterdam.

My name is Anya, I’m originally from the US but I grew up mostly in Spain and also a bit in Southeast Asia. Ik studeer technische natuurkunde in Delft en ik ben op zoek naar een kamer in die regio. Het liefst een kamer met gezellige huisgenoten zodat we samen kunnen eten en borrelen. Ik woon op dit moment in IJsselstein bij mijn ouders. Ik ben buiten mijn studie om vaak in Delft aan het boulderen bij Delfst bleau.

We come from Greece and we have splitted our mutual life of 10 years between Santorini island and Athens. We now start a new adventure relocating to Amsterdam. We have always wanted to live abroad but when we visited Amsterdam we knew that this was the city we should do it. It is only very recently that we have been given a good job opportunity to decide on this new step and make the move. We are 34 and 39 years old and we both work in hospitality industry. We have two furry kids, Tigris and Troufa. Tigris is a mixed breed maltese with pinscher male dog 14 years of age and he weighs 3 kg. Troufa is a mixed breed setter female dog 7 years of age and she weighs 11 kg. They are both very good dogs, well behaved and they have always been living in an apartment. They are accustomed not to climb on furniture as they know they are not allowed to and they happily share their own bed. As a family we very much enjoy spending time at home and that is why we always take good care of our personal space. We are very neat and tidy and we like cleanliness. We never go into the house with shoes and also the dogs have their paws wiped before entering. We are looking for a cozy place for our family in order to start our new life in Amsterdam.

My name is Sandra and I am a 25-year-old Spanish female. I am a game programmer who just moved to beautiful Amsterdam to work at the renowned Guerrilla Games. This opportunity is a dream come true because I was already in love with the company but now I have fallen in love with the city as well. I hold a bachelor’s degree in video game design and development, which I completed with a thesis awarded with high honors. My professional journey began with an internship at King during the summer of my third year of university, followed by another one at Ubisoft during my final year. Upon graduation, I joined Smilegate on a permanent contract, where I have worked for the past three and a half years. Throughout these years, my living situation has varied. I lived with my parents during university, then shared an apartment with a friend for a year and a half, and most recently, shared an apartment with three flatmates for two years. All these experiences have made me very aware of the qualities I value in a tenant, flatmate, and neighbor, and I am committed to embodying them myself. Since I spend most of my day at the office, I value coming back to an organized and clean home free of noise and smoke. Nevertheless, I spend most of my time away. I mostly eat out with friends. I have been adding a pin to every restaurant that I have enjoyed, so you can barely see the streets of my Google Maps anymore! I also go a lot to Soho House, a private members’ club, where I indulge in reading books, watching movies, and exercising. I aim to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
