I'm Yaren, I moved to the Netherlands last year and have been working at the MPI for almost a year now, so I think it is safe to say that I have grown accustomed to the culture and the way of living here. I consider myself to be a clean, social and warm person (amidst all the rain!) :) I am a vegetarian who loves to cook (I make really mean dumplings!), bake and sing and a typical week for me is mostly working/studying but I also like going out for long walks and grabbing a couple drinks with friends. Even though I like going to parties every once in a while, I wouldn't say I'm a big party person.

I finished my bachelors in Prague, now I'm planning on doing my masters in Rotterdam and so I'm looking for a room in a clean and tidy flat/household in Rotterdam. In my free time I like playing ukulele, baking, going for concerts (oh yes, and to cafés) or taking a random train to anywhere and wander around there (it makes me feel like an adventurer ha). I'd like to live in a flat where people like to do things together, from board games to drinks or maybe some sports (I'm not big on those, but I'd like t start!), but where there's enough space for everyone to do their own thing. It would be great to live at a place where people are considerate and respectful of one another, and it would be amazing if it could be a safe space for everyone there - and that's what I'd like to help create!

Finding accommodation in the Netherlands is indeed not easy, I hope to have the opportunity to become your tenant (need to be able to register). I enjoy cooking, taking walks in the community, and cherish both time spent with friends and enjoying solitude. Reading is something I do most often. As a graduate of the Fine Arts department, I also enjoy documenting life with brushes and cameras, sharing what I see, and respecting the comfortable distance between people. Additionally, I am adept at keeping the home clean and comfortable. I will be arriving at temporary accommodation in Amsterdam on April 24th. Back in Taiwan, I take care of four cats with my sister, namely, Ponpon the orange cat, Bobo the calico cat, HB the white cat, and the youngest one, Charcoal the black cat (oh, he's about to get neutered soon).
