Mijn naam is Mabel en ik ben 22 jaar oud. Zojuist ben ik afgestudeerd aan de hbo-opleiding Vastgoedkunde. Volgend jaar ga ik beginnen aan de Master Real Estate Studies (RUG). Vandaar dat ik graag wil verhuizen vanuit mijn drukke studentenhuis, naar een rustigere woning. Naast mijn studie werk ik parttime bij Beterbed en jaarlijks organiseer ik de kinderspelweek in Hoogezand. In mijn vrije tijd bezoek ik het liefst musea en fotografeer ik moderne architectuur.

I'm Thomas, a Canadian living in Amsterdam for just over five years now, first as a physics student at the UvA and now as a research scientist developing alkaline battery/power-to-hydrogen devices. Like many Canadians, I grew up enjoying the outdoors and playing ice hockey. The hiking isn't quite as good in Amsterdam as it was in the Rocky Mountains, and I mostly climb indoors now, but I do still get to play/coach ice hockey two nights a week and this time of year I spend many weekends trekking to our away games all over the Netherlands.
