Hey there! I am Shreyaank and 22 years old, currently pursuing a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at UT. I am currently living in a temporary accommodation in Witbreuksweg and therefore looking for something permanent and a cozy student house. I am always down for meals, drinks, games and other social activities together with my housemates. Owing to my outgoing nature, I also like to meet and socialize with new people very much whilst keeping a balance with my studies and personal time. Cooking food is also something about which I am quite passionate, even though it might look as if I don't eat enough as much as I cook! I am also learning Dutch and I try to speak it at the supermarket. Knowing how to speak German helps me to understand the Dutch language as well to a certain extent. Currently, I play Volleyball in the Mix team and am also a member of the Mix Committee of Harambee. Earlier, I played Football as a major sport for 12 years and for a change sometimes, I used to swim and play Table Tennis and Cricket as well. I like to be physically fit and thus find myself going to the gym as well. Overall, I would like to move in with a group of warm and fun people who like to spend time together! My name is Sandra and I am a 25-year-old Spanish female. I am a game programmer who just moved to beautiful Amsterdam to work at the renowned Guerrilla Games. This opportunity is a dream come true because I was already in love with the company but now I have fallen in love with the city as well. I hold a bachelor’s degree in video game design and development, which I completed with a thesis awarded with high honors. My professional journey began with an internship at King during the summer of my third year of university, followed by another one at Ubisoft during my final year. Upon graduation, I joined Smilegate on a permanent contract, where I have worked for the past three and a half years. Throughout these years, my living situation has varied. I lived with my parents during university, then shared an apartment with a friend for a year and a half, and most recently, shared an apartment with three flatmates for two years. All these experiences have made me very aware of the qualities I value in a tenant, flatmate, and neighbor, and I am committed to embodying them myself. Since I spend most of my day at the office, I value coming back to an organized and clean home free of noise and smoke. Nevertheless, I spend most of my time away. I mostly eat out with friends. I have been adding a pin to every restaurant that I have enjoyed, so you can barely see the streets of my Google Maps anymore! I also go a lot to Soho House, a private members’ club, where I indulge in reading books, watching movies, and exercising. I aim to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

"Man 38jr oud zoekt woning / kamer / studio in Haarlem" Vanwege het euvel des levens ben ik momenteel op zoek naar een nieuwe woonruimte in Haarlem. Ik ben op zoek naar een plek waar inschrijving wél mogelijk is in de Gemeente Haarlem, buiten de gemeente is helaas geen optie i.v.m. mijn uitkering. “Owjee, werkt hij niet?”, denkt u nu misschien? Nou het tegendeel is waar, ik werk elke dag keihard aan verschillende projecten en werkzaamheden, variërend van ontwerp- en design, projectmanagement en marketing taken, tot om/bijscholing en studie. De verwachting is nu dat ik in juli weer een vaste aanstelling heb. Voor nu, ben ik op zoek naar een kamer, een studio, of wat voor een betaalbare plek dan ook, zodat de stress van zonder vaste woon- of verblijfplaats te zitten, zij het voor tijdelijk, in ieder geval is opgelost. Tijdelijk huren is dus ook geen probleem. De verwachting is dat ik nog ongeveer 1-1,5 jaar iets wil huren, alvorens ik ga samenwonen en ik samen met mijn vriendin op zoek ga naar een plekje. Budget: 600-700 euro EXTijd: +- 1 jaar, maar elk aanbod is op het moment al een zegen. Ps. Doordat ik ook een aantal dagen per week bij mijn vriendin verblijf, ben ik niet altijd thuis. Ik ben veel onderweg voor de projecten, de sportschool en natuurlijk de nodige sociale activiteiten. Verder ben ik een nette huurder, ben sociaal in de omgang en (vrijwel) altijd in voor een goed gesprek of een bakkie koffie. Hoi! Ik ben Dirk, ik ben 27 jaar en ben student Humanistiek aan de Universiteit voor Humanistiek. Sinds september heb ik in tijdelijke kamers in Utrecht gewoond en het lijkt me heel fijn om nu een plekje voor onbepaalde tijd in een fijn huisje te vinden in Utrecht. Ik houd van het ontdekken van nieuwe plekjes, film en muziek. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik regelmatig naar de sportschool, laat ik me meeslepen door een film in het filmhuis of geniet ik van een concertje. I'm Yaren, I moved to the Netherlands last year and have been working at the MPI for almost a year now, so I think it is safe to say that I have grown accustomed to the culture and the way of living here. I consider myself to be a clean, social and warm person (amidst all the rain!) :) I am a vegetarian who loves to cook (I make really mean dumplings!), bake and sing and a typical week for me is mostly working/studying but I also like going out for long walks and grabbing a couple drinks with friends. Even though I like going to parties every once in a while, I wouldn't say I'm a big party person.
