My name is Tais, I'm 32 years old, Brazilian and bellow you will get to know a little about me, and why I might be a good fit to be your flatmate. I have been living abroad for about 8 years now. Business BA graduate, twice Au Pair, and recent graduate in Computer Programming; I am a life enthusiast. I lived in Chicago for six years, being two as an Au Pair (2015-2017) and four as college student (2019-2023). Between 2018-2019, I was also an Au Pair in Amsterdam. I chose to return here because the European way of life suits me better. I am fascinated by foreign languages and cultural exchange. My native language is Portuguese, and I am fluent in English; in addition to, I have studied Spanish, French, Dutch, and Italian. While studying abroad, I worked as a live-inn nanny. Which means that, I know how to live with others sharing a house. I respect people's privacy and I expect the same from my future housemates. I always kept the common areas of the house organized, helped with cooking, and garbage recycling, and spent a lot of quality time in the living room watching TV shows or grabbing a glass of wine with my host family. On the other hand, I enjoy having my own space and some quiet time too; in my room, studying languages online, listening to music, and calling my family in Brazil. Some of my hobbies are barbecuing with friends, going to the beach, watching Netflix shows, drinking coffee outside in the sun, traveling, and playing board games. Hallo! Ik ben Ratna, kunsthistorica en oudheidkundige. Ik werk in het leukste museum van Nederland, het Archeon in Alphen, waar ik leiding geef aan een hele hoop Romeinse docenten. Ik ben een echte creatieve duizendpoot. Ik zing en dans op hoog niveau, heb twee theaterstukken geschreven en speel als acteur veel, kon naar de tekenacademie, maar ging liever kunstgeschiedenis studeren, geef les aan alle leeftijden, geef lezingen en maak een boel historische kleding voor reenactors en musea over de hele wereld. Ik houd van lezen, studeren (hoe meer vakkennis hoe beter), maar ook van leuke dingen doen met vrienden, zoals een spelletje spelen of een gezellig drankje drinken. Oh ja, ik studeer momenteel naast mijn baan ook nog pedagogiek en opvoedkunde. :) Ik ben een rustig persoon ondanks mijn drukke leven en houdt mijn leefruimte netjes opgeruimd (op de creatieve buien na dan).
