About the place

The house is in a quiet district and offers a serious working/studying environment. The household is smoke- and drug-free and is equipped with good wifi, kitchen and bathroom. The atmosphere is family-like. Each room has a smoke-detector, turn-tilt window for airing with a summer/winter mode, insect screen and pleated shades with top-down and bottom-up control of light. This room is located on the second floor and shares a bathroom with shower, toilet and basin on the 1st floor, on the ground floor a 2nd toilet is available. Applicants must be willing to socialise with 2 other international female MSc-students and my 17 yo daughter. The living room, dining room, bathroom, and kitchen are available for general use, the Wifi has a max. speed of 200 Mbs. The house is located in Nieuwegein, a city with 64000 inhabitants next to Utrecht in the district Fokkesteeg-Zuid. Its insulation was upgraded in 2022 to make heating affordable in wintertime. With a 4 min. walk a busstop allows you to use busline 202 taking you in 26" to science park Utrecht. By bike the 13 km takes approx. 43". To Utrecht city center there is also a tram, which also continues to Science Park but  this takes longest with 51'. After initial selection, introduction to housemates for co-optation and a viewing of the house is the next step.
