There is a strong preference for a girl. However, if there are no suitable female candidates, we will consider males as well.

Looking for a well-mannered, respectful, clean, considerate and reserved tenant. If you are introvert and a privacy enthusiast this room might be just for you! Smoking and pets are not allowed (there are already two cats living here).

The room becomes available 1st of September, 2019 till indefinitely. Preferably I want someone who would like to stay until the end of July/August 2019.

In my home, I have two cosy and bright rooms available that I would like to rent out. Both rooms are fully furnished with an extendable bed, wardrobe and desk. I have two cats in my residence, so it is important to me you are not allergic or have any problems with cats being around. You may make use of my facilities: the bathroom, toilet, kitchen, washing machine and dryer. You may also make use of my personal kitchenware (cutlery, dinnerware and pans); however, I expect you to take good care of it when you do and put everything back in place after you are done. You will have your own private storage in the kitchen (your own cabinet and fridge shelf) and bathroom (shower rack shelf) because we understand your need for personal space. The apartment is homey and modern since it has been recently renovated, meaning your room has not been lived-in.
I am a reserved person and I am looking for someone who values their privacy as well. In return, you can expect to have a clean, nice and peaceful home as safe haven with good working facilities and considerate housemates who respect each other’s boundaries. In general, we tend to keep to ourselves most of the times but with a friendly atmosphere in the house. Since we are mostly introverts and our home is a refuge to recharge, we would appreciate it greatly if you do not invite strangers too often in the house. Therefore, we would like to keep guests to a minimum and we would prefer it if guests are received in your room. The house is neatly organised, and we intend to keep it this way. Cleaning is done according to a cleaning schedule and everyone is expected to do their part properly. In short, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable and quiet place and if you are a considerate and introverted, you will fit right in.

Your place is at an ideal location with good transport possibilities. A tram stop is less than 2 minutes away along with a local ethnic supermarket. Multiple other supermarkets are on 5 minutes walking distance. The Hague University is also around 5 minutes walking, the Hollands Spoor railway station is on walking distance of 10 minutes. You can cycle to the shopping center of The Hague and Leiden University The Hague Campus within 8 minutes. The apartment itself is in a quiet and peaceful street, away from the busy road. Next to that, it is located on the third floor so you will have a lovely view over the playground and water. Your room is furnished (bed, desk and wardrobe) and is around 10m2. The mattress is excluded (you will have to bring your own). The bed is extendable (width can range from 80 cm to 160 cm width) so nearly any mattress fits. The storage is on the ground floor, so it is handy when you have a bicycle. The perfect location if you are going to do an internship in The Hague!

There is an additional one-time fee of 150 euros for the administration and municipal taxes (waste collection, pollution levy, water board assessment, etc.) which need to be paid after signing the contract. The rent is 490 euros including all utilities (gas, water, electricity, internet, etc.). Security deposit is 550 euros which will be returned if you have not caused any damage to the property.

Note: On the other hand, if you are a social person who enjoys to be surrounded by others and loves to party or do activities with your roommates, this room is not for you. This is not a student house, but a home.
